Yes! ogWiFi and SIMtone are bringing connectivity to the Hill for the Net Neutrality rally!

Here are photos of our roaming node internet valise!  The not-so-little darling includes the following:

WiMax 802.16 wireless access modem connected to an 802.11b/g wireless access point/network address translation (NAT) router (WRT54GL) running a version of Linux and a very big battery! All loaded into a Sergio Valente suitcase.

Not as elegant as the Wireless Toronto Roach Coach but not bad for 45 minutes of work! See you at the Peace Flame!

ogWiFi was invited to participate on a discussion panel at the Community Wireless Infrastructure Research Project workshop (CWIRP) in Toronto this week.  Panel members will be Ile Sans Fil, Wireless Toronto and Wireless Nomad.  The workshops topics include Public Infrastructure, Community Wireless Network Case Studies, developing strategies for wireless networks, policy issues and USA & Asia Case Studies. I will do my best to take good notes and blog the event. Check out the agenda.
